Sublimation

Sublimation is a technique that allows for high-quality prints that penetrate the material’s structure, becoming an integral part of the product. With this method, prints don’t peel, crack, or fade, making sublimation one of the most durable marking techniques. To achieve the best results, sublimation requires the right conditions, such as light-colored polyester surfaces and a well-prepared graphic design. This technique is ideal for producing full-color prints on items such as polyester mugs, bottles, mouse pads, or umbrellas.

ADVANTAGES

durability

A print made with sublimation is exceptionally durable, resistant to water, UV radiation, and abrasion. This makes the technique perfect for producing items that will be heavily used, such as mugs, bottles, mouse pads, or umbrellas. Sublimation ensures that the print will not fade or lose its properties over time, retaining its original appearance for a long period.

full color

Sublimation allows for full-color prints with vibrant shades and near-photographic quality. This technology makes it possible to reproduce even the most complex designs, making it an ideal solution for branding promotional gadgets that need to stand out with excellent aesthetics. The colors are vivid, saturated, and permanently embedded into the material, ensuring a lasting visual effect over time.

profitability

Sublimation is a cost-effective technique for smaller runs, as it does not require the creation of expensive plates or complex forms. This makes even small series affordable to produce, making sublimation a highly economical method, especially for personalized promotional gadgets. It’s a solution that enables high-quality prints without large investments.

speed

The sublimation process is fast and efficient, allowing orders to be completed quickly, even in large runs. With modern printing technologies, sublimation makes it possible to fulfill projects in a short time, which is especially important for urgent orders. Preparation costs are minimal, further reducing the turnaround time for the finished product.

Hand washing

To extend the durability of sublimation prints, hand washing is recommended. While sublimated designs are resistant to everyday use, contact with harsh detergents or frequent dishwasher cycles may affect their appearance. Hand washing ensures the print will look like new for longer, preserving its color intensity and details.

limitations

Sublimation has its limitations – it works only on light surfaces, preferably white, and exclusively on polyester materials or surfaces coated with a suitable layer. It is not suitable for natural materials such as cotton, nor for surfaces that cannot withstand high temperatures, such as certain plastics. Additionally, the design must be in the right resolution, as low-quality graphics can result in poor print outcomes.
